New Bipartisan Real Estate Caucus formed in Congress
In early May, four congresspeople launched a bipartisan Real Estate Caucus, which will address the lack of housing affordability and inventory nationwide. All the founding members of the caucus have real estate experience and include Reps. Mark Alford (R-Mo.), J. Luis Correa (D-Calif.), Tracey Mann (R-Kan.) and Brittan Pettersen (D-Colo.).
The caucus will help develop policies aimed at increasing the nation’s housing supply and providing more homeownership and rental housing opportunities to more Americans.
Trade organizations, including the National Association of Realtors®, agree that the formation of this caucus will help highlight important issues in the industry, such as housing supply and accessibility.

Advocacy Spotlight: California Call to Action
Recently, 乐竞体育赛事直播 has spearheaded a call to action campaign in California to urge legislators to oppose Senate Bill 1103, which would increase commercial tenant protections and impose requirements detrimental to both property owners. Almost 100 individuals from California have contacted their senators through 乐竞体育赛事直播’s online platform, Voter Voice, on this issue. Upcoming advocacy update for chapter legislative contacts
