Both the Choice in Affordable Housing Act and the Respect State Housing Laws Act will be reintroduced in the 119th Congress. Respect State Housing Laws Act ()
The Respect State Housing Laws Act would eliminate a provision that requires a 30-day notice period before a property manager may begin eviction proceedings against a tenant in federally assisted or federally backed housing. The bill was reintroduced by Representatives Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.-11) and Vicente Gonzalez (D-Texas-34) and Senators Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.) and Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.).

Real Estate Caucus Relaunched
Earlier this year, Representatives Alford, Correa, Mann, and Pettersen relaunched the congressional Real Estate Caucus. This bipartisan caucus aims to create legislation that will tackle home supply and affordability. With the United States short more than 4.5 million housing units, 乐竞体育赛事直播 and its industry partners celebrate the relaunch of this crucial group that’s tasked at addressing the housing crisis.
